I was consistently impressed with his honesty, good communication, professionalism, and punctuality. About 9 months later, when we had a small leak in the repair during an extremely strong storm, we were talking within 12 hours of my emailing him, and a small crack that had formed was repaired within a few days. He provided excellent follow-up, including pictures of the repair job. He and his crew were respectful of the inside of our house (which they had to go through to get up to the roof). He was able to schedule things quickly, and when the time arrived, got his crew in and out in a minimum amount of time and came in under estimate. He was straightforward and honest about pricing and the considerations involved in this sort of repair. Pat was immediately responsive to my email, and was consistently good about following up on the phone at just about any hour, day or night. The two men, Dave and Israel were very nice and expertly completed the repair under time and under original quote! Of Note| while Patrick was getting the ladder from his car, a neighbor approached him to come and look at his roof and he absolutely DID DO IT after my estimate was done! I am so pleased with the service, efficiency, concern and care for the customer and the overall friendly professionalism from everyone I encountered! I am going to pass the info along to our homeowners association so that others in our neighborhood can enjoy being taken care of in time of stress. As not visible I requested to use what was available and kindly offered to me at a significant savings (over ordering the color match) for which I was most appreciative. Patrick returned with the two men who would do the job and also with shingles that were comparable in every way to mine but just a tiny little difference in the shade of the black. ![]() He said two of his employees would be arriving shortly. I ended up sending a few pics he asked for and within the hour he appeared in my driveway! Patrick went up on the roof and made estimate for ~ 550 - $650. Spoke with Patrick and was surprised by how kind he was and patient while I told him the particulars. Concerned about forecast for afternoon rain and/ or for a small critter house hunting I called first thing this am 4/4/16. My husband went out on lower pitch roof and with binoculars was able to see 3-4 missing shingles and small hole. Noted previous evening part is f a shingle in backyard. only one of the existing gutters was found to be in need of being replaced. Flashing was replaced, the Chimney and gutters were inspected, Replacement hangers for gutters were installed. The autumn 2016 weather was good, and work was done promptly, with thorough clean up of the premises. Roofer & associated Carpentry Company advised there may be other needed work that is “Out of Scope” and would advise as they discovered the need. We chose Certainteed Landmark Pro 50 year warranty shingle, It was best for the style of the roof. ![]() The associated carpentry was done by Lofgren Construction and was thorough and work was outstanding. There was associated carpentry that is very important to do jointly with the roof work. ∱00 year old house, family property, needed flat roofs to replace original tin rear roof & front flat roof over the porches, and replace Shingle roof on main house. He even left the scaffolding up until I finished painting, WOW! - Joseph Leonard, Washington, D.C. Just a fantastic crew of people! Patrick came and inspected the work upon completion and provided photos of the work. The job site was completely cleaned up and the end of each workday and all tools and materials were secured. They were also careful to let me know where they would be working so that no debris fell into the wet paint. They even took the time to assist me while I was painting the window trim on the house, by providing more platform boards for the scaffolding. Aside from the work contracted, they did on-site fabrication of small missing pieces of the historic molding. When the work started, his employees were always prompt, courteous and professional. His office called ahead of time to schedual the installation of the scaffolding. ![]() Photos were taken of the areas to be replaced and repaired. Detailed estimates were provided within a week during the busy summer season. He listened to problems and concerns regarding the job and offered to break the job into portions to be completed at different times, making it financially feasible for the work to be done. He arrived on time for the estimate appointment and was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Patrick Mctavish was the contractor picked from a group of 6 who provided estimates.
